Its nearly over

The last leg of the attachment is now. Its almost over! Viva and Reports are done!

Office Politics

Having only 2 employees under the company, its fun to hear of office politics from the office below. Right now there are people in the meeting room (that is shared with my work area). 3 Executives and 1 minion.

Apparently there is some conflict between 1 executive and the minion. I think it was escalated into a heated argument or a fight that had to have this intervention.

Holiday

Boss just told me that tomorrow is the last day of the year for this company. The new work year resumes Jan 3rd!

It ain’t healthy but its good

The boss just commented that the instant noodles I’m eating ain’t healthy.

Updates as of late

So the project has been completed and delivered. There were teething problems especially with the print drivers that the company use not being able to support the label printing engine. PCL drivers ain’t as great as Postscript. Still everything is done and now there are just some additional requests.

Right now I’ve nothing else left to do except work on this new thing that has a lot to do with AI — Subsumption Architecture. If I pull this off, the AD and even perhaps the module prize for IAP is mine.

In other news, the boss has cut his hair.

ITS DONE!

Its finally done. I’d be leaving the office with the boss in a short while to set up the system for the client. As much as it was great to work on the project as it was simple, there are some stuff I wished I had the time and the energy to get done.

1. Proper preferences system where loading of the application configuration can be done on the fly and not at start up.
2. Choose specific fields to print.
3. Allow arrangement of label layout.
4. Better preferences system.
5. Slide out inspectors

So yeah, some of the stuff. I’ve also completed a manual complete with many many screen shots as to whole the application works.

Yeah. Print feature integrated. Now to set up the damn thing to allow configuration of its settings as well as more options for the print.

I’m not working cause its TGIF.

I’ve been sitting here for the past 4 hours doing nothing. I guess I can finally understand this whole deal about TGIF amongst the working population.

Its just so hard to get anything done when a few more hours away, its freedom for 48 hours.

Its alive!

The fridge is working again!

And there is still the pool of tea!
